本寺住持忠明法师在朝山开始前，为大众勉励朝拜的殊胜，并开示朝山功德利益。主法和尚忠明法师领众诚念“朝山祈愿文”！随后，「那摩药师琉璃光如来」的佛号响起，忠明法师领众三步一拜地向药师佛迈进。大众脸上夹杂著汗水与感动的泪水，早已分不清彼此，随著脚步的迈开，内心的烦恼也一点一滴的洗净、涤除。队伍中，不乏五岁的幼儿及年过八旬的老菩萨。却仍坚持信念，虔诚地念佛礼拜。幼儿虽未明理，但以虔诚之心朝礼药师佛，难免不令人感动。
三步一拜的祈福活动行进约2个小时后，在祈福钟殿药师佛圣像前，忠明法师领众进行祈愿回向仪式，大众共同诚挚祈愿药师如来殊胜加持，普天下的父母得安康，个人现世父母福寿安康，往生者离苦得乐、早生净琉璃世界！
